The 3rd SUCCEED Network Training Workshop took place at the Kigali Campus of the University of Rwanda.
Following an official welcome by Vice-Chancellor James McWha, the project partners participated in a two-day training event organised by University of Alicante staff members on the topic of Renewable Energies and how to increase their presence in Higher Education Institutions.
The training workshop was accompanied by a project meeting to review the work done during the first year of the project and to plan the next steps.

During the journey, the participants – known as Ampioneers – will work together to conceive and launch start-ups and contribute to creating a community of entrepreneurial talent in Africa. The buses stop in different cities every day, allowing the Ampioneers to interact with local entrepreneurs and innovators. An event will be held in each country and there will be a partnership with a leading entrepreneurship conference in each region when the bus reaches its final destination.

The SUCCEED Network consortium met up again in Kampala (Uganda) in order to conduct the 1st Project Workshop on ‘Energy Efficiency Campus Technologies and Tools Workshop’.
This first workshop falls under the Work package 1 INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING ACTIVITIES, and the main target group were University leaders and top managers who deal with energy efficiency matters on a daily basis.
During two days, participants received an in-depth perspective of current Analysis processes, Policies and Tools that are available for a better Energy Efficiency Campus development.
