Announcement of Workshop on Energy Efficiency Audits

Tuesday, March 10, 2015 to Thursday, March 12, 2015

Venue: 

Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda

​Representatives from the SUCCEED Network partners Makerere University (Uganda), Moi University (Kenya), Mzumbe University (Tanzania), Université du Burundi (Burundi) and University of Rwanda (Rwanda) will meet in Kampala to participate in a training workshop on Energy Efficiency Audits supported by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development of Uganda (MEMD).

The 2-day training workshop will cover Energy Audit Methodologies, Energy Management, Key Energy Systems in Universities and will include two practical audit exercises. After this workshop the participants will share the knowledge acquired with their colleagues in the Energy Efficiency Units in order to conduct Energy Efficiency Audits in their own universities.

The workshop will be accompanied by a project coordination meeting to review on-going activities and plan the next steps.
